She barely had the strength to leave the bedroom. So she had to sit down on the chair next to the bed. Qiu Wei cried silently. She took a handkerchief to wipe her tears, but couldn't wipe them away, so she had to let her cry for a while before falling asleep.

Bixi carefully cleaned up the garbage left behind by the recent operation. In the room where the air seemed to be frozen, the smell of blood was still strong.

Jane looked at her hands.

If she could choose, she would like these hands to only deliver fat babies. Unfortunately, her wish never came true.

Her throat tightened.

He hurriedly rushed into the bathroom and washed his hands and face vigorously.

She didn't have time to mix it with hot water, so she washed it with cold water. Her fingers hurt. She stared at the ring on her hand. The water flowed through her finger. The ring and finger looked a little deformed.

A long time passed before she came out of the bathroom.

She noticed that Suixin had quietly slipped into the room at some point. Suixin also came in with her caregiver. When Mom saw her, she called Miss Cheng. Suixin was looking worriedly at the sleeping Qiu Wei. When she saw her, she asked softly: "Will Aunt Wei be okay?"

Jane walked over and sat back in her original position. In this way, we are not only close to Qiuwei, but also close to Suixin.

The smell of blood has a warm milky aroma.

It must be the smell of Suixin.

"I will." Jane changed her posture.

Half of the morning light that passed through the curtains fell on Suixin's face, and half on Qiuwei's face... Jane looked at it for a while, then got up and closed the curtains, leaving only a bedside lamp.

"Let her be quiet." Jane took Suixin's hand. Suixin's hand was so soft, like toffee about to melt, that she almost wanted to put it in her mouth right away... "Don't worry."

"I want to stay with her here." Suixin said.

"My good lady, you can't stay here... It's time to freshen up. The car will pick you up later. Have you forgotten? Did you agree last night? You are going home today... Old lady I'm home today. Isn't the old lady coming back just to see you..." Mom said softly.

Suixin pursed her lips and just looked at Qiu Wei on the bed.

Jane looked at Suixin's side face silently. The silent and stubborn little girl has heart-wrenching eyes.

"She will sleep for a long time." Jane patiently explained to Suixin, "When she wakes up, you can stay with her. You can stay with her for as long as you want."

"I just want to be here right now." Suixin insisted.

Her nanny was still trying to persuade her, but she was so stubborn that she pretended not to hear her.

"The car will pick you up at eight o'clock." Mom said helplessly.

"Dad will let me stay." Suixin said nonchalantly, "I'll call dad. Tell him!"

"No!" Mom was shocked and waved her hands hastily. He lowered his voice and pulled Suixin.

"Why not?" Suixin waved her hands impatiently and stared at her mother. The little brow furrowed. Her eyebrows are light, as soft as her hair.

Mom looked at Sui Xin in embarrassment and said hesitantly: "It's just...it can't be done." She looked at Jane as if asking for help.

"You can tell dad that Aunt Wei is sick." Jane understood what the nanny was worried about.

"What's the disease?" Suixin was not so easy to dismiss.

"Stomach hurts." Jane answered her.

"Did you lose the child because you had a stomachache?" Suixin asked suddenly.
