"Your glasses. Also, your eyes." Suixin said clearly. "Can you take off your mask?"

Jane lowered her head and took off the mask tied around her ears. The thick mask covered most of his face. When he took it off, his breathing became smoother.

"Nanny, how can you be so rude?" Mrs. Tu came in and stood behind Jane Cheng. The words that were supposed to be a lesson now sounded very gentle and helpless.

Suixin pouted. Her little hands grasped Jane's sleeves and didn't let go.

"It's okay." Jane smiled softly, and slowly, she turned her head. Making eye contact with Mrs. Tu, she nodded, "Tonight, I will watch her here."

Mrs. Tu said softly: "That's...ok. But the night is very long, so let's go down and have some midnight snack first."

Jane turned her head to look at Suixin. Suixin's eyes were closed. She covered Sui Xin with a quilt. Mrs. Tu told her mother to see this before walking out of the room and waiting for Jane at the door. Jane followed her out.

The corridor is very long. Empty, no one there.

Mrs. Tu walked in front. Turn off the lights as you walk. Out of every three wall lamps, only one remains. The light dimmed.

"Supplies are in short supply recently. Although we are not short of them, we still have to save some." Mrs. Tu said and ordered the servants: "Go down."

When they sat down in the restaurant downstairs, the whole building fell silent.

Jane Cheng took off her coat and only wore a nurse's gown. The nurse's gown also made her feel a little restricted, so she simply took it off. Wearing a thin black wool sweater and a black wool skirt underneath.

Mrs. Tu removed the covers from the dishes on the table, revealing the delicious supper.

She said: "They are all Shanghai-style pastries. I don't know if they suit your taste...eat some green dumplings. The green dumplings are not in season at this time, so they may taste worse..." Her eyes were not looking at Jane, from her eyelashes to her fingers. , all seeming to be trembling.

Jane picked up the chopsticks. The green dough was soft and glutinous, with a delicate fragrance in her mouth. The bean paste filling is sweet but not greasy. She only had a sandwich and a cup of coffee for dinner at the office. I was really hungry now, so I ate with gusto.

"Do you still remember that I like to eat Qingtuan... Qiu Wei, when did you move here?" she asked.

Calm, gentle, natural.

Qiu Wei was stunned by Jane Cheng's sudden change of title. For quite some time, she had been cautious, not even daring to let her eyes slip to the body and face of the woman in front of her.

Jane turned to face her, smiled slightly, and said, "It's been so long, but a girl like you, who talks so much, can't bear it."

She watched Qiu Wei's lips trembling, her eyes full of tears, and the sadness in her heart was overwhelming, so she tried her best to restrain herself.

"Qiu Wei..."

Just hearing the clatter of the chair, Qiu Wei, a well-dressed lady, came to her in two steps and knelt down for her. Before she had time to react, Qiu Wei had already kowtowed to her three times. She held Qiu Wei in her arms, her pink face suddenly flushed, "Qiu Wei, what are you doing! Get up." She pulled Qiu Wei hard.
