"Miss!" Qiu Wei hugged Jane with her backhand, and the tears she had held back for a long time finally rolled down. "Miss, miss... I thought I would never see you again in this life!" She hugged Jane tightly, Trembling all over. The tremor spread to Jane, who closed her eyes.

"Didn't I come back well? Get up and talk." She had no choice but to sit back.

"Don't get up."

"Let the servants see you kneeling for a nurse. What does that mean?"

Qiu Wei pursed her lips. A stubborn look.

Jane looked at her and saw that this woman, who was almost thirty years old, still had the same stubborn temper she had when she was around her.

"You want me to leave immediately and never come through this door again?" she said.

Qiu Wei shook her head.

"Why don't you get up then?"

Qiu Wei lowered her head.

Jane said cheerfully, "Get up and have a nice talk with me."

Qiu Wei finally stood up holding on to the table.

Jane looked at Qiu Wei's cheongsam with high slits and smiled: "Fortunately the carpet at home is clean, otherwise it would be stained with dust, Mrs. Tu, you would have soiled a good robe."

"Miss!" Qiu Wei blushed.

Jane motioned her to sit down with her eyes and said, "I have something to ask you."

Qiu Wei hesitated, but had to sit in a corner of the chair under the strong pressure in Jane's eyes. Jane knew that this was Qiu Wei's biggest concession at the moment, so she no longer forced her. She asked: "How is Artu treating you?"

Qiu Wei nodded.

Jane also nodded. From what she observed from the moment she entered the house, from the decoration of the house, the servant's attitude towards Qiu Wei, to Qiu Wei's dress and demeanor, she judged that Qiu Wei, the hostess, was doing a pretty good job.

"I finally got it right." She said.

"Miss"

"It's been a big help to you these past few years, Qiu Wei."

"Miss, if you say that, how can I bear it... Ever since she left, I haven't been thinking about her for a day. I wonder whether she is doing well, whether she is tired, whether she is homesick, and whether she is homesick without me. By your side, will the lady take care of herself? Also, will the lady come back? Will she miss...my daughter?"

"I'm fine." Jane smiled, "I've got everything I want, and I've accomplished a lot of what I want to do."

Qiu Wei looked at Jane carefully.

Compared with the beautiful appearance and unparalleled elegance many years ago, Jane Cheng is now more determined and calm, and her eyes are more breathtaking. Even when she smiles, there is a sense of distance. Some are high and some are cold. But no matter how she changed, this was Jane, the tenth daughter of the Cheng family whom she longed for, and she was still her master.

Her eyes fell on Jane Cheng's hands, which were delicate and white. There is a ring on the ring finger of the left hand. Her heart sank and she raised her eyes to look at Jane Cheng.

Jane also looked at her hands and didn't explain.

She picked up her chopsticks again and ate the snacks Qiu Wei had prepared for her. As she sat here, she saw a grand piano placed in a small side hall opposite. Brand new, as new as porcelain just out of the kiln, with a smoky air. There is a large vase with a bulging belly on the piano. The vase is empty, not even a drop of water.

"That's for my daughter." Qiu Wei saw that she noticed the piano, "My daughter likes to play the piano very much. There must be a piano wherever she lives. To make it easier for her to practice, I bought a new one and sent it here."

The glutinous rice lotus root is just right sweet and sticks to the tip of the tongue.

Jane asked softly: "Who are you learning piano from?"

Qiu Wei looked at her and said, "Your former teacher, Miss Anna."
